The University of Nebraska at Omaha Blue Line Club

The UNO Blue Line Club was founded to provide financial support to the UNO men's ice hockey program. It also provides a forum for fans to get to know the players and the program.

The BLC assists in fundraising efforts designed to enhance the college hockey experience -- for both players and fans. Membership dues are critical in this effort. Money is also raised each year through a variety of events including the Annual John Talcott Blue Line Club Face-Off Golf Classic and through events such as jersey auctions and raffles.

Some key initiatives of the Blue Line Club include:

• Purchase of a trophy case to display UNO hockey awards and trophies;
• Fundraising to support scholarships for fifth-year student-athletes as well as to fund summer school classes for current players.
• Purchase of a projector unit for the hockey program.
• Underwriting support for a recruiting video for the university and the hockey program.
